Over my years of working as a counsellor, I have helped many people, but I have found that with the ethical boundaries that come along with a counsellor/client relationship, there will always be some withholding of certain information, experiences or feelings, and this I feel can limit the amount of work that can be done, and the depth and quality of the relationship.
